Well, I got Linux suse working. By installing it on its own hard drive. With absolutely no connections to my regular drives. So to switch between it and Windows, I have to shut down, unplug the computer, open it up, physically disconnect and reconnect to the one(s) I want to use. A bit of a pain, but I really want to play with Linux. The biggest problem I'm having with it now is that I can't seem to get into the display settings. Every time I try, it acts like it's doing nothing for a minute or two, then changes to a useless, crosshatch-patterned, black and gray screen with a big black "X" for a couple of seconds, then switches back. In short, I'm stuck in 1280x1024 resolution.
So, anyway, I was playing with the GIMP (that's the photo editor that comes with suse) and I had a really funny idea. Somebody tell me what you think.
That is all.
May the Force be with you.
